Perfect for any gathering!

You all loved David’s jam-glazed chicken wings, so here’s another favorite from his kitchen. This version couldn’t be simpler: just a few ingredients and agave doing all the heavy lifting. David likes them with classic agave, but I love using our chipotle or habanero agave for a little heat. They’re sticky, savory, slightly sweet, and ready QUICK. The kind of recipe you’ll make once and immediately memorize.

Preparation

Ingredients

  • 3 packages party chicken wings (about 4–5 pounds total)
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Matriarca Carrot Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Matriarca Celery Powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup Matriarca Natural Agave, Chipotle Agave, or Habanero Agave, plus more for finishing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Arrange the chicken wings on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with the olive oil and season with the onion powder, carrot powder, celery powder, salt, and garlic powder. Drizzle generously with the agave and toss well to coat.
  2. Spread the wings into an even layer and roast until fully cooked, deeply golden, and crispy around the edges, 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on their size and your preferred level of crispness.
  3. Transfer the wings to a serving platter and drizzle generously with additional agave while still hot. Serve immediately.
  4. These disappear fast, so consider making a double batch.
